Print report cards and exam sheets
Updated 11 August 2026
CloudSchool gives you a few different ways to see and print results, depending on whether you want one exam, a whole session, or the paper before it's printed.
Check the exam before you print
Open Reports & Analytics → exam-wise report for the exam you want (or reach it from the exam's own page). Before printing anything, look for two warning banners that may appear:
- "These marks don't match the exam schedule," with a button Fix it on the exam schedule.
- "{n} students would not print correctly," with a button Open the consolidated sheet.
Fixing these first saves you reprinting later.
Printing a single report card
From the exam-wise report's class roster, click Print report card next to a student to print just their card for that exam.
Printing a whole batch of report cards
From the same exam-wise report page, click Print all report cards to print every student in the batch at once.
Consolidated exam sheets
Go to Reports & Analytics → Consolidated exam sheets to see every student against every subject for one exam on a single page, before anything is printed. Pick a Class, Batch, and Examination, and use the View dropdown to choose All subjects (tabulation) for the full tabulation sheet, or a specific subject to see that subject alone across the batch. Tick Include earlier sessions if you need an exam from a previous session. Once loaded, use CSV to export the data or Print to print the sheet. Each sheet also shows a Published / Not published badge.
Term report
On the academic reports roster (Reports & Analytics → Academic), each student's row has two separate print buttons: Report card (for one exam) and Term report (a combined document across the exams in a term). Term reports are printed one student at a time — there is currently no single button to print an entire batch of term reports at once.
Designing how report cards look
Go to Reports & Analytics → Report card designer to change how every printed report card looks for your school (this is admin-only, and depends on your school's plan). You can set:
- Accent colour
- Page density — Auto (fit to page), Comfortable, Compact, or Dense
- Border style, and a checkbox to Never spill to a 2nd page
- Sections to show or hide: school logo, address line, attendance, position/rank, result & remarks, subject graph, grading key, signature lines, and a verification QR code
- Text — a header label and a footer note
Click Save design — the change applies to every report card printed from then on.
